Italy and it’s many regions are famous for their food and Le Marche is no different.

Locally there are many great restaurants offering local produce and local dishes with a friendly face, whether you speak the language or not you will be welcomed, but a little effort goes a long way.

In Penna San Giovanni we have a number of restaurants you can try.

Tre Querce or the Three Oaks is a fabulous agriturismo set in the north facing hills of Penna and offers both lunch and dinner menus either a la carte or a set day menu.  typically for a set menu you will be looking at €50 per couple for 4 courses and wine.

Enotecca La Grotta is just around the corner from Casa Liozzi and is an old converted wine cellar where you can taste good local wine, cheese and cured meat coming from our region… La Grotta is open from 18.00 July and August.

Vecchi Sapori is the local cafe bar and downstairs there is a pizzeria with pizzas made fresh in the stone oven and they truely are fantastic.  Bar and restaurant closed on mondays, food served from 20.00.

L’antcio Gusto is a traditional agritourismo looking south over the Marchese countryside. Recently refurbished to a high standard to match the home grown food it gives a great night out, as long as you are not in a hurry because there is a lot of food! Typically €20 a head is what you will pay.  You will need to ring ahead to book a table, but it is okay as they speak good english.
