Although quite small, Penna San Giovanni has a whole load of things you might not expect to find in a village of 500 people!
We have a bank open monday to friday, a butchers, a bakers, not sure if we still have a candle stick maker but Stefano is a carpenter and has hand crafted all the windows in Casa Liozzi!
We have 2 village stores, a pharmacy and a tobacconist, 2 bars and a fantastic Pizzeria. If you need a haircut then don’t fret, we have a local barber and a very busy and bustling hairdressers too. A petrol station and a florist, a few shops selling all sorts of wierd and wonderful and a fantastic Osteria, ‘Enoteca La Grotta‘ which opens in the summer with local wine, meats and cheeses, it is well worth a trip!
Lastly, the Teatro Flora, the local theatre which has to be seen to be believed, a most beautiful small theatre with paintings by Antonio Liozzi himself.
